Carlie Cari Photographer of the week Post Russell James is an active professional photographer who is recognized for shooting photos high up in the fashion industry. In his early life he had many careers before becoming a photographer. From being a tradesman to becoming a cop. He tried out many jobs before finding his passion. He was originally from Australia before traveling the world to places like Japan and Sweden. After he found himself living in the United States where he picked up professional photography. He had never actually had any class or professional experience before he begun photography. His first photo book was published alongside Heidi Klum which is what put his name on the map. He had released many other books as well as winning the Hasslebald Masters Award in 2007.
